One of the highlights of the award was that the organizing team from Corp Com arranged for the Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai to prepare my dish (the winning recipe) at the iftar dinner, for all my amazing colleagues to taste. The dish that I won the best recipe is called “Fish Nirvana”, the recipe was borrowed from my role model chef Suresh Pillai. Csaba Szendrei, Henkel GCC President handed over the winner’s prize to me at the annual iftar. It was an evening filled with the amazing spirit of Ramadan togetherness and giving back.ĭuring the iftar I was humbled to have received the winner’s prize for the best recipe, as part of the Ramadan recipe competition, an extension of the global Henkel Health and Wellbeing campaign “Eat Smart, take part”. Earlier this week at Henkel, all colleagues across the UAE gathered for our annual corporate iftar.
